The ministry area of nurture includes education, worship, Christian formation, membership care, small groups and stewardship.

People need a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and the Christian community. Nurture expresses the need for Christians to be cultivated in the Christian faith, to acquire and apply the spiritual resources necessary to provide effective outreach and witness ministries. The nurture team coordinates, plans, carries out, and evaluates the congregation’s ministry in the areas of member care, worship, and educational experiences, including the church school, small groups, regular and special worship services, stewardship formation, and member visitation. Our nurture team is divided in to several teams that each focus on an aspect of the nurture ministry.

Our Worship Team focuses on planning and carrying out a worship service that is inspirational, spiritually stimulating, and challenging. Lively, God-centered worship is a crucial component of vital congregations.

Our age specific teams lead the charge for our children's and youth ministries. They have both the training ground and nurturing opportunity to grow disciples, who then mature in faith and become leaders of discipleship.

Our United Methodist Men (UMM) and Pisgah Women groups support the men and women of our church as well as missions outside of our doors. They also meet each month for a time of fellowship.

The card ministry celebrates with our members during special events and offers presence during trying times in daily life. It provides material to homebound members and attempts to keep those that can't be present in person connected.

Pisgah's prayer shawl ministry supports our members by presenting those with long term medical situations a knitted or crocheted shawl that reminds them that their church family has them covered in prayer through the treatment they are facing.

Vacation Bible School is always an exciting time at Pisgah! Each summer we host a fun-filled, scripture based program for the children of Pisgah as well as the community.

Pisgah has a mid-week program on Wednesday evenings for all ages. Adults gather in the sanctuary for bible study while children and youth participate in age specific activities to promote spiritual growth.
